  1.  Beef minced (finely chopped)1/2kg
  2.  Eggs hard boiled
  3.  Poppy seeds (grind)1tsp
  4.  Green chillies 4,5(chopped)
  5.  green Coriander 1/2bunch(chopped)
  6.  Onion 1small(chopped)
  7.  Ginger Garlic paste 1tbsp
  8.  Garam masala powder 1tsp
  9.  Red Chilli powder 1tsp
  10.  Salt to taste
  11.  Egg 1(beated)
  12.  Oil for fry 1/2cup
  1.  Onions 4(finely slIced)
  2.  Ginger Garlic paste 4tbsp
  3.  Red chilli powder 2tsp
  4.  Tumreric powder 1/2tsp
  5.  Coriander powder 4tbsp
  6.  Gram masala powder 1tsp
  7.  mace & Nutmeg powder 1/2tsp
  8.  Yogurt 1/2 cup
  9.  Oil 1cup
  10.  Salt to taste
  11.  Tomato 1 for ganishing
  12.  Green chillies 2,3 for garnishing


  1. First Mix Beef minced,Poppy seeds (grind) Green chillies,green Coriander Onion,Ginger Garlic paste,Garam masala powder,Red Chilli powder and Salt well.devide mixture into 3 parts,
  2.  Now cover boiled eggs with mince make smooth oval shape,dip it in beated egg and fry in oil .
  3.  Let it cool put in freezer for 15 mins then with a sharp knife cut koftay vertically into 2 parts.keep aside.
  4.  Heat oil fry onions till golden brown put out from oil and spread on paper and grind.
  5.  Add ginger garlic paste in oil fry it add red chilli powder,salt,turmeric,Coriander powder.
  6.  Fry it properly add yogurt and grind onion nutmeg & mace powder
  7.  Cook till gravy become thick .
  8.  Now put all Koftay in gravy let it warm on lower flame for 5mins,take out gravy in serving dish and keep all koftay on the gravi garnish with    tomatoes and green chillies.
  9.  Serve hot with chapati.
